Squished Images

I’m getting images that are distorted. I have the image sizes set to 215×215 in the gallery settings. But on the page they’re displaying as 215×177. If I change the height, the distortion still happens. It’s always shorter by 38 pixels. This is within the grid layout of thumbnails. I’m using the Fixed style.
Maybe some other CSS or Javascript is interfering. I’m not sure where the 38 pixels is coming from.
