It only imports categories

    I want to move my little joomla 2.5 website (53 categories, 95 posts) to wordpress, but the plugin only imports the categories. No error message is displayed, it just gets stuck after importing categories.
    I tried importing the database into my own wordpress database, as suggested in the faq, but when I try to import it the problem still ocurs.
    I attached two images to make it clearer (spanish).

    Did you try to increase the php memory limit?

    I’ve tried increasing the memory limit with no luck. Also, the log file just tells me that 53 categories were imported and nothing else. No error at all, just stopped.
    Is there any limit size for images? Because it imports a coupe of images and then stops, with a 3MB jpg, which doesn’t get fully imported, just the name and a placeholder in wordpress media library.
    Any thoughts?

    UPDATE: It’s a problem with media import. Without any media, it works flawlessly. Could you maybe point me in the right direction to get it to work properly with media?

    Yes, the big image can be a problem.
    When the image is imported into WordPress, WordPress resizes it to several sizes. This consumes some memory. If the image is too big, it may fill the whole memory.
    I advise you to resize the big images manually and update them on Joomla before doing the import.
