Install error line 1345 fix

  • Saw a lot of people had similar problem as I did with fatal error functions.php on line 1345.

    I followed the install instructions and used WordPad to mod wp-config-sample.php and couldn’t fix the problem until I redid the same and saved in NotePad. Worked immediately. I believe WordPad saves in .txt and not .php

    Hope this works for others too.

  • I use TextPad. Some programs such as NotePad or WordPad tend to mess up character spacing. the .txt or .php doesn’t matter… if you name it wrong you can simply rename it. The problem is in the program itself. I have had nothing but excellent luck with TextPad.
