    This could be a theme issue… but while I wait for the theme support to answer, thought I would ask here just in case somebody has any ideas.

    When viewing a job post I am getting errors…. the error is

    Call to a member function have_posts() on a non-object in /(server-path)/wp-content/themes/sprout/inc/template-tags.php on line 472

    The file that is generating the error is ‘template-tags.php’ so I am wondering if it has something to do with tags? Something WP Job Manager does not seem to have (in posts).

    Cheers

    Yes its a theme issue, and it sounds like its trying to display post tags (which obviously don’t exist for job listings).

    See this post: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/dealing-troublesome-themes/

    If you create a custom template to handle job postings, you can remove any code relating to tags.

    Thanks for the reply Mike,

    The developer for the theme we us contacted us with a fix (which he will roll out in the next update) and it is working now.

    I am now looking at getting a couple of Add-ons for your awesome plugin.

    Quick question… can I add custom form fields to the application add-on? I would like to have a field where people can post a link to samples of their work (or portfolio).

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Our next version of applications will have a form editor ?? For now we have docs on a code solution.

    Thanks
