    Team,

I’ve set up a multi-network system and am running testing. One thing I’ve noticed is that when you say “shared user base” you really mean it!

While each individual site retains it’s own members, each network brings in the members of EVERY network. Is there a way to restrict and/or prevent that?

For example, I would love for the central network admins to be in every network for simplicity. But, I don’t need every subscriber from every site in everyone else’s network. Can the shared user base between networks be limited to super-admins only?

The system I’m developing is a way to provide and manage sites for publishers. I don’t need the authors from one network being involved in another publisher’s network. I do want the super-admins (my people who would look after all of the networks) to be in each network, though.

Failing this, I’d rather have NO carryover members at all, and I can just manually add in super-admins as needed.

Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing that?

    Thanks!
    Rob

Not by default, though both myself and Jeremy Felt have incorporated some version of this in our own respective projects.

What we need is a true “Network Role” plugin, that would piggy-back on WPMN nicely. Maybe someday… If you’re able to help sponsor it’s development, I’d love to be able to make this happen.
