Remote Publishing to WORDPRESS

Also, I would like to note that I attempted to verify that the remote blogging function was enabled, However after going to:

SETTINGS << WRITING

I did not see a radio button to enable or disable the Remote Publishing function.

Your host may have security that blocks XML-RPC. Ask them about it.

i should note that i’ve read in passing (in the last few minutes) that wp doesn’t support live writer anymore…

More or less true – actually the problem is also that Live Writer has not been updated since 2012 – so probably not long for this world in any case…

i had a sneaking feeling it was on the orphan list at microsoft like XP…

there is a wordpress app that you can download to post from phones and tablets and there’s quickpress from the app store for mac.
