1) who pays the commission – does the site owner pay the vendor, or does the vendor pay the site owner?
Ans : Commission policy is doing via the manually.Now site owner set the product commission and when product have been purchased then vendor get the commission by manually. Commission record have been listed in wp dashboard and will seen only by the administrative user.

Vendor need to trust for site owner for commission.
Note: Now pay the direct commission and add different commission as per product will be release in my next version .
2) does the vendor use the payment gateway of the site owner, or does each vendor use his own payment gateway?
Ans : No, payment gateway is selected by the site owner. There is no any option for select the payment gateway by vendor.
3) does the site owner have to approve every product that is being sold by every vendor? Or does the site owner have the option to allow automatic approval of all items for sale by the vendors?
Ans: Yes,site owner will approved the every product which is uploaded by the vendor.
Currently,it have not any option for publish the product automatically.
Note:
i: I assume that if anyone upload the spam product which not allowed by the site owner that’s why I have added the functionality for review every product by the site owner.
ii: If need to publish the product without approved by the site owner then I can add an option in wordpress dashboard where site owner will check and uncheck for approved automatically/manually.
4) if the site owner pays the commission to the vendor, is the payment to the vendor paid automatically immediately after the sale, or is it paid at certain times, like weekly, monthly, or how?
Ans: Commission pay by manually.It’s totally depend on the site owner to pay the vendor.
