I did look over the Kadence forum first, but I am not a premium member… so, I didn’t really find an answer. Can someone point me in the right direction to adjust the hard crop size of the featured images (single post) and the grid post image size (category pages)? Virtue must do this differently because these images were more uniform. However, I really like Pinnacle. I would love for my images to have a similar landscape look (shorter) for single post pages… and the same for the smaller images that are used in the grid format. Yet, I do not want to break the theme. Is there a way to accomplish this that isn’t too difficult or won’t be lost if I update Pinnacle. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

  • Hmm, well that seems like a good feature to add. I’ll add a switch in the next version that allows you to turn a hard crop on for blog posts.

Thank you for the consideration… that would be the icing on the cake! I have tried many themes and I must say that Virtue & Pinnacle have become my favorites. Thank you for all of your hard work.

I’ve updated the theme with this option. It will take a couple days to process through www.remarpro.com review but you can download here: https://www.kadencethemes.com/product/pinnacle-free-theme/

You are awesome! I am downloading it now. Thank you for your willingness to address this… and so quickly too!

    Heya,

Sorry to open up a resolved issue, but is there any way to apply the hard-crop of featured images to the Pinnacle: Post Grid: Recent Posts widget?

Also, while on the topic of hard-cropping, is there a way to edit the settings for post excerpts so that the text is all the same size in post previews (e.g. on the home page in recent post rows)?

    Thanks very much,

    Sydney
