    Hi
I’m trying to get the calendar to display multi day events on each of the relevant days, rather than just the first one. I’ve inserted the shortcode [events_calendar long_events=1] directly beneath the word CONTENTS in the events page. This has produced a duplicate calendar; the first calendar still lists my events but only on the first day of a 2 day event, the second calendar highlights the relevant 2 days, but the event list has gone.

If I try the same shortcode with CONTENTS removed it has no effect.

I’ve tried [long_events=1] both beneath and below CONTENTS but that hasn’t worked either

I need to have just the one calendar with events listed and showing on all dates but don’t know if it’s something wrong with the shortcode I’m trying to use or if I’m typing it in the wrong place.

I’m not familiar with coding so really simple explanations would be appreciated!

    Thank you

could it be that you set your events page to display calendars under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Display calendar in events page ? also, do you have sample link to your site for us to see?

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I think the ‘display calendar in events page’ setting might have been the reason I was getting 2 calendars being displayed. I now have just one calendar and the ‘long events’ shortcode has merged the dates into one, but the calendar only has the dates highlighted, rather than listing the events within it; the events are only appearing as a separate list.

    Link to site is here
