How to add > between Breadcrumb

I Need to add > between the navigation option in breadcrumb but unable to do the same using folln code provided in your FAQ’s
.ib-crumb+.ib-crumb:before {content:”>”;}
I am using this code in the style.css but doesnt make any diff.Kindly help.
