What size to make featured image?

  • Hello! I just downloaded this theme for a side project, and I’d like all the images to be just big enough so you can see the featured image and the blog title. I’ve tried experimenting with different images, but I can’t get them all to be standard size. Is there an optimal size for the featured image to create the effect I want?

    Also, I’m trying to override the CSS when it comes to how the titles appear on the home page. I’d like the title to be a little bigger, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m pretty sure the proper element is ‘entry-title’, because I can change the font; I just can’t change the color or size.

    Answered my second question! I got tripped up trying to alter the h2 heading, the element, in case anyone ever encounters this problem, is ‘h2 a’.
