• Hi,

I’ve been struggling for couple of days now, I need help :S

I have web page that requires to support different languages. I’ve created and successfully installed nav menu, it works great for wordpress pages. I am able to switch between different language versions of he post/pages.

However, when I add custom links to my Azeri and Russian menu I am no longer able to switch between languages and polylang sets menu to wrong language

    teyinet.az\az – azeri version
    teyinet.az\ru – russian version

    Hi Chrystl,

Thank you for your response. I’ve been through the guide many times and my menu works perfectly fine for when I switch between posts/pages created in WordPress.

The problem arises when I switch to a non-WordPress page that uses WordPress menu. Polylang fails to determine correct language of the page, even though I have both html lang setting and folder structure setup so that it should determine the language, this is what the problem is.

If you have any idea how to help me, I would much appreciate it.

As regards your links: you must put the az link in your az menu and the ru link in your ru menu.

non-WordPress page that uses WordPress menu. Polylang fails to determine correct language of the page,

It’s a normal behavior because Polylang doesn’t work on an external environment as your non-WordPress pages.

    Thanks Chrystl.

Do you think it would be possible for you to remove references to my website in the first post?
