change header image on home page for fixed box with image

i am happy for it to be simple and calling on the image in code.

First you need to remove the slider, please check this topic how to do it

Then in ‘header.php’ file, where the code for the slider was, add the code for a single image

<img src="your image url" />

sorry late reply. i got there in the end. i saw the post and recovered the code then tried to put the image in but i couldn’t get it right. im guessing i had got the image path wrong in first attempts. in the end i put parameters with it too and got it done.
