Can deleting an admin delete all the pages from my site?

    Hello,
    I deleted an admin user, the one I was using when I set up my WordPress site. Last night I created a new Administrator user and deleted my original. Today I have noticed all my web pages are gone. I noticed a bunch of pages in the trash and am not sure if these are the recent ones. I restored these and all the images are gone? Could deleting the admin have resulted in this? Please help.
