Get total views of a post via JETPACK REST API

GET /sites/$site/stats/post/$post_id should do the trick. It will return, among other things, a string with a total of all views for that post:
https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/api/1.1/get/sites/%24site/stats/post/%24post_id/

Here is an example with a post on one of my personal sites:
https://i.wpne.ws/aOZi
15078 is the total number of views.

You can use the API console to test things:
https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/api/console/

Well, I already saw that. But you may haven’t noticed that the value is completely wrong.

I tried using jetpack console and this is the total views number I get : https://i.imgur.com/DCU0qoz.png

Then I tried jetpack stats api, and this is what is shows : https://i.imgur.com/u9K7Yys.png

When ever I try REST API vs Jetpack Stats api it shows totally different numbers. And of course jetpacks stats api numbers are the real ones since they match the values displayed in WordPress stats page too.

Apparently jetpack REST API doesn’t count views from the day post was published. Isn’t this a fault ? Any help
