2.0 Is Not Working Correctly – Any Ideas?

Is it working at all? What kind of errors do you see? Could you provide WordPress, PHP and MySQL version of your hosting?

1. It’s showing around 10 visitors a day and it typically runs around 100 (Awstats is still showing normal activity).
2. “The plugin does not have a valid header”
(I deleted the header in the trunk like the thread recommended, but it didn’t fix it).
3. WordPress 4.1.1
PHP 3.5.8.2
MySQL 5.1.73 (I think this is the number)

1. WP Power Stats 2.0 uses a completely new accurate method to detect only human visitors.

Previous higher numbers were due to robots and bots scanning your site.

2. You could try deleting wp power stats folder, and trying to install it again. Hope that helps, because I could not reproduce your error. The plugin header seems to be okay.

I understand WP Power Stats trying to only count real visitors, but I consistently get around 100 visitors per day according to Awstats. I like their system, but WP Power Stats shows other statistics that Awstats doesn’t show.

So when WP Power Stats was showing 1,200 visitors in one day, I knew that wasn’t right. But now that it only shows 10, that isn’t right either. Thanks for checking into it. I may just have to look for a different plugin. Thanks, Dennis

Awstats is a backend solution that logs every hit your site gets. Googlebot, wordpress scanners etc. I would not rely on those numbers if you want to know your real amount of visitors.
