    Hi Mike,
Loving the theme so far, need some help if possible with implementing another filter for the Search Widget on the Homepage of my site.
I currently have, regions, category (which I am using for job types) but would like to also have a filter on “Salary”

Where the user can search for a job that is tagged by once of the following salary ranges:

    “£0 – £29,999”
    “£30,000 – £69,999”
    “£70,000 + “

Someone suggested I bought WP Job Tags as an add on which I did. I thought perhaps I can just use tags to add these salary ranges to a drop down on the search widget.

Is this possible if so would you please let me know what I would need to put in order for this search functionality to be implemented to the search widget itself as a new drop down?

    Really hope you can help!

    Hello,

For the search, tags only supports clickable tags. You could use categories/sub-categories. We do plan on creating a salary field + filter at some point but there is no ETA on that.

    Thanks for the quick response!
Ok I guess this could be an option!
If i went about this and duplicated the category drop down,
Would I then though be able to filter search dropdown only to show specific sub category?

If so how do I do this?

I don’t mean duplicate it; I mean add a set of categories for salaries. If you enable the ‘multiselect’, users will be able to add multiple and search multiple categories at once.
