Google, as ususal is displaying their total contempt for cutomer service by not replying to this thread.

The odd thing is that if I visit my site the ads seem to be displaying OK.

But the lack of response from Google doesn’t surprise me – they don’t seem to respond on their own support forums

Been doing some digging round – it looks like google make calls similar to this:

    /post-url/?cbp=6zcvxvxv7hu&google_publisher_plugin_page_details=1

and if those calls fail for any reason then the plugin thinks there is an problem with your site.

I was getting them because my fcgid processes would age out and cause 500 error codes.

I put some debug in there and it just seems that for no apparent reason the status gets set to “pending”.. which seems to be coming back from Google’s servers when the plugin phones home.

Google apparently don’t seem to care about this bug.
