How can I remove Adsense code from my feed

  • I am using Aweber as my autoresponder. It is linked to my RSS feed. When I have blog posts that have an Adsense ad near the top, the Adsense code appears in my feed and looks something like this:

    google_ad_client = “ca-pub-94

    (I cut off part of the code)

    How do I keep this from showing up in my feeds (and my emails)?

  • Hi. Are you adding Adsense in post content? If yes then a better approach would be to add the adsense code somewhere in your theme’s single.php. That way it won’t show up in your feeds.

    Thanks for responding. I like to put Adsense in specific places.To make them look aesthetically pleasing. ?? I don’t want the ads to be in one place on every single post. Sometimes I like them near the top or middle. I put a “more” tag before any Adsense code, but the feeds don’t seem to respect that.
