Create a new website for someone else

  • I have been asked to design a new wordpress website for someone else. Once the website is complete they want to maintain it and up date the site.
    Would I be able to use multisite for this or is there something else I have to use.
    I am no developer so this is all new to me, I am concerned about this as if I use multisite will they have access to my company site, or will the login used for them just allow them to see there site?

    Any guidance / help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

    What is purpose to use multisite? Its much more complicated. If you builded site for client and he want it, give it to them, why to control it via multisite?

    Anyway if his website will be part of multisite and you will set him as administrator, he will not control all multisites, this can do only superadmin – role

    Sorry, but this is the deep end of WordPress. Don’t do it yet. You’re not quite ready.
