Site language set to English in settings–can this be overridden?

  • I have a Japanese language front-end. For another plugin (WP Ultimate Recipe)to call the correct language file and render correctly, I think I need the site language to be set to Japanese, but when I activate Admin in English, the setting is automatically changed to English. Is there any way to have both at the same time?

    Still hoping to get some help on this. It seems that the site language must be set to Japanese in order for the correct language to populate the fields in WP Ultimate Recipe, but Admin in English seems to be setting the site language to English. Am I understanding the situation correctly? Thanks for any clarification.
