Recurrent events

Heyho! Maybe it is already discussed (sry if so), but I wondered if you already have implemented (or planned to do so) a workaround to realize recurrent events like birthdays, maybe simple by omitting a year for the start date. Is there any feature like this? Alternatively I have to use a sql query to do so, but you would make my day if there is an option to skip this.
