Redirect after submit issues?

  • I am using Contact Form 7 on multiple sites, some developed by me and others not.

    Because I’m using CF7 in conjunction with another plugin, I am using the redirect function of CF7 to update a php session variable.

    Whenever there is a form submitted and the site’s css references an image that isn’t there, for whatever reason it takes me to the 404 page for the missing image. Why would it do that and is there a workaround?

    I’m using WP 4.1.1 and CF7 4.1.1

    The additional settings that I am using are:
    on_sent_ok: "location = 'REDIRECT_FILE_HERE';"
