Latest WP (4.1.1), latest plugin (3.2.7), even tried with beta (3.2.8).
    1) Installed. Activated.
    2) Went to WP General Settings. (bug 1) WP language is changed to English (it was not before and should not be)!
Tried to change WP language back, no change in settings PLUS (bug 2) Site Title and Descriptions are all empty now.

Please let me know if you fixed the problems so i can activate it again and not loose my important settings.

    @gaspar,

What is your default language – Language Management (qTranslate Configuration) – Default Language / Order ?

What is the language – top right if qTranslate is active?

    Gunu,
my default language is ET. And it is in first position in your plugins page.
    Top right language is ET.

    @gaspar,

when you change the language in the upper right it also changes in General Settings right?

Site Title and Descriptions are all empty now.

If you fill out these then they don’t remain?

No, switching languages does nothing – all the UI remains the same.
In the past i remember it changed the admin language also. Not anymore.

Original bug behaviours occured on LIVE site with caching enabled.
So i wanted to make it simple. I added plugin into new installation.
Now i can at least save General Settings Title and Description. But the title of the page in admin bar is now “…” and my default language is wrong and can not save it/change it.
Something fishy is going on. How can i debug it?

    Which plugins have you installed?

Deactivate them, temporarily, all and see if that makes a difference.

    What theme are you using?

Try it also with a standard WordPress theme, twentyfourteen for example.

Theme and plugins should not matter in admin area, does it?
I have default twentytwelve. And no plugins. If it helps..

One thing. If i am in some other page then General Settings, the title in admin bar is ok (correctly switches). In the page title (HTML) the title is with brackets []. I guess it is not correctly implemented and admin bar is checking the length of the string and replaces it with …
But the Site Language setting is not right! If i inspect directly my db, this setting is correct. But do not work. And the page shows wrong value. If i disable your plugin, everything is back to normal again. What can be wrong with it?

For a basic installation, this is very strange.

How are your settings in Language Management (qTranslate Configuration)?

    General Settings
    Advanced Settings
    Import/Export

All settings should be default. No magic here..
Exept disabled “Detect the language of the browser and redirect accordingly.” and deleted all unneccesary languages*
    * Have to do those clicks basically every time i use Qtranslate* plugin (very annoing).

This is actually the very first time i have to deal with these sort of bug with this plugin.
    No idea why.

This would not be necessary, that in itself is strange.

Is it possible that you make a test copy of your site and gives us access?

Would the subsite in multisite environment suffice?
