    I have installed the plugin, went to the website, registered, I received the API key from the single sign on like I was supposed to. I went back to wordpress copied the API key, entered my username and entered in the forum address. When I clicked on updated I got this message…

    chmod 777 /var/chroot/home/content/p3pnexwpnas08_data01/40/2514640/html/wp-admin/profile.php;

    Read/write permission is needed on these files so we can insert the login/logout HTML code which sets the necessary login/logout browser cookies for Single Sign On with the forum.

    I spoke with someone on your chat but I still am not able to figure out where those three codes go. I am using the theme Typal.

    Hi Rocky!

    Thanks for inquiring about the Website Toolbox WordPress Forum Plugin.

    Those commands need to be executed on an SSH terminal that is connected to your server. I know that might sound like a different language to you, but no worries, we are here to help! You can submit a support ticket with our customer support team and provide the login credentials for your website/server so that our team can connect to it and setup our WordPress plugin for you. That would be the easiest way to proceed. You can change your password afterward if you would like.

    Additionally, we are currently working on an update to our plugin which will allow it to be installed without having to execute those commands. We hope to have this new version of the plugin available within a week or two. If giving our support team permission to your server is a problem, perhaps you can add a basic link to your forum in your WordPress website navigation for now and then install our plugin later once the new version is released?

    Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Feel free to contact our customer support team 17 hours per day via phone, chat, or email if you have any other questions or concerns! Here’s the link: https://www.websitetoolbox.com/contact
