Header/Navigation too big on mobile (Responsive theme – SilverStone)

    I’m going absolutely crazy over here, hopefully someone can help! ??

    I have an image in my navigation / header. This image is too big to be displayed when viewing the website on mobile (well iPhone, I have not tested on Android) because the navigation does not scroll…so I am left with only a very small area for people to read the content. I would like to either have the navigation scroll when on mobile or replace this image with text when on mobile.

    I am using SilverStone responsive theme

    I have tried numerous fixes but none have worked. I have been making wordpress sites for many years but I am self-taught by trial and error so I don’t really understand the WAY this works. I just follow tutorials. If you know how to fix this please let me know.

    actually to be honest I hate that the navigation of this theme doesn’t scroll. I have tested it with various browsers and there are some compatibility issues with actually viewing the text on some of the browsers. If there is a solution to stop the navigation from scrolling on ALL of the pages except the front page, I would love that instead. With this theme, the navigation does not appear on the front page until you have scrolled down a bit and I like that and do not want to change that.

    Hi, I just realized I said that backwards. The navigation stays still, it is static on top of the content, and I would prefer it scrolled with the content on all pages except the front page.

    Or alternatively at the very least I need to fix the problem on mobile by replacing the image with text.
