Endless, repeating notifications

Hi,
which version of BuddyPress/WordPress are you using on the site? Also, are you using live notification 2.0 or the old release?

I’m using the latest version of the plugin, 2.0.0.

Also on the latest WordPress 4.1.1, and BuddyPress is running on 2.2.1

Brajesh, I can confirm this. Even when there is a single notification, I’m getting fast repeats of multiple notifications.

My site is in development, if need be, I can send you some login credentials to see what I mean.

I too am having the same issue, the notifications keep popping up over and over again. Using the latest buddypress and wordpress.

This is happening to me too, I have the latest of everything.

please fix ??

Same here….. And for gosh sake don’t mentifon yourself like I did testing this or you will see speed popups…lol

Yea, here too BUT, even though the notification repeatedly pops up a new message every couple of seconds, and the toolbar notification count goes up each time, it actually only registers the one message on the messages tab of the user.

Since, on our site, only shop manager and admins see the toolbar, the toolbar notification count is a mute point. The repeated popup of the message, I guess, will encourage the user to click it since the repeated popup is annoying. However a fix would be better!

I am truly sorry about the issue but I have tried at least 20 times to re create the issue and I have failed in recreating it.
I tested it with mentions notification, friendship request notification.
I am using BP default theme, WordPress 4.1.2 and BuddyPress 2.2.2

I need help in recreating it, if any of you are online, please message here or get in touch via BuddyDev contact form. Please help me to see the issue and I promise to fix it within an hour of seeing it.
