  • Hello LordZed,

Good question! We don’t know either. Looks like there’s an issue with your rewrite rules.

Can you please, first, check your .htaccess file for any strange redirect rules?

My .htaccess is quiet long ?? How could the link that is send with the mail have something to do with rewrite rules in my .htaccess? How is the link generated?

Oh and I forgot: Tell me what I need to look for so I can crawl through my .htacces file.

Hi! I took a look into my htaccess but as I said: It’s long! So a hint what could cause the links in the E-Mail to be routed via “/portfolio/outdoor-shooting” would be great.

I’m sorry, but there’s no way to give you a hint. So many Caching plugins add a bunch of stuff to the .htaccess that is almost impossible to guess what’s the cause of this issue.

I’m suggesting you backup this .htaccess and replace it for a basic one created automatically by WordPress (just temporarily to test). This way you can determine if your .htaccess is indeed the cause of this issue.
