Large Number of Pages Crashes WP

  • Using the sync menu option on large sites will crash WP.
    The “Nested Pages Menu” is getting automatically giant on large sites.
    But WP can only handle a limited number of menus items.
    A change to PHP max_input_vars to max_input_vars = 5000 will help.
    But on very large sites WP still crashes if someone activates sync menu!!
    Is there a way to hide the sync menu option for anybody except superadmin?

  • I have similar problem.
    I have 86 page (primary language) and 149 (all language).

    when I move a page with Dropbox integrated everything freezes (I can not drag pages) and gif loading remains. Also if I use other pages they seem locked and not loaded.

    I increased the number of PHP max_input_vars to the problem of large menu (I also have a very big menu), but does not change the problem.

    There is no solution? instill your own plugin is very useful to those sites bodied data
