I am having the same issue. but do not know where the short code is and where I should put the above.

What is the shortcode you are using currently?

I googled short code and learned that I can just insert the above suggested fixes into my regular copy page to see if it fixes the player problem. No change when I do this. I have reload and refreshed on my android phone and I still get no player for the video. Thanks in advance for help on this one.

Just change:

To:

[jwplayer mediaid=”190″ androidhls=”true”]

OK I have done this and it does not play on my android nor on my husbands. I have tried to make it so that I have refreshed the site several times. Any other suggestions??

I guess I have the same issue. I didn’t try yet to add androidhls=”true”.

I will test it tonight.

But the thing is:

– Why before the player could appear in android and not anymore ?
– As I have hundreds posts with videos (mp4 format), how can I do to make this androidhls=”true” applicable on all my posts ? I can’t imagine updating all posts one by one… ??

You only need androidhls=”true” if you are using HLS.
