Couple of style changes needed. but need help

In order to make the search boxes grey you can add this to your css:

body .select2-container .select2-choice{ background-color: #f2f2f2; }

Change the #f2f2f2 value if you like a different shade.

That’s the only thing you can change via CSS. The other things you’ll need to modify your themes template file archive.php.

I suggest you either find a different theme which supports thumbnails or look into how you add it yourself. Here’s a few good links to start with:

In archive.php in your theme you should be able to find the string “archive” and replace it with “searchresults” if you like ??

I’m afraid that’s all the help I can give you as every theme is different and only your first issue is really about this plugin. For even more help I’d suggest you post in a general WordPress forum or if your theme has a supportforum of it’s own.

Thanks for your prompt response, I had to reboot the site and have now placed everything on a new theme (owing to another unrelated issue)
I have set my Custom Post Type and Taxonomies Breed and Location as before but now when I click Apply Filter I get a 404 error page.

I’m not seeing the BTF filter module anywhere in your new theme?
Also you get 404 error when trying to filter using the themes builtin filter for homes(?).
could suggest that your permalink structure isn’t perfectly setup. Go to settings > permalinks to fix that.
