Site launched, but theme not showing

  • Hi all,

    I just launched my site and it looks fine from the admin login. But when viewed as an unlogged user, it displays without a theme. I am using Adelle theme and the site I need help with is, https://formummybaby.co.uk

    I have checked that the wp-content/themes/adelle folder exists on the hosting provider.

    I am very new to wordpress, HTML and CSS. So, if your reply is technical, please explain in basic terms to a beginner.

  • Looks fine to me – try clearing your browser cache and cookies or try another browser.

    Thanks for replying. Yes, it seems to be fine now. I deactivated all plugins to check. But it still showed the same. After a while it is working all of a sudden, and I’m not sure how. Could it be a delay in updating because I’m on cloudproxy by Sucuri? The DNS are pointing to their servers. Does that change things? Sorry if the question is silly, I’m new to all this and sometimes, it is a bit confusing!

    Yes, if it’s a new domain name or recently changed nameservers, likely a DNS issue. Glad it’s working now.

    I activated the plugins and the problem is back! These are the plugins I have installed –
    Akismet
    BackWPup
    Disqus comment system
    Insert headers and footers
    Jetpack
    Sucuri Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Hardening
    Theme Check
    W3 Total Cache
    WordPress SEO

    Is there something in the list that is causing the theme to be disabled?

    I’d guess W3 TC – what if you deactivate it?

    Yes, I think you’re right. How do I solve the problem? Or is this not the right forum to ask this question? Should I be posting in the W3 TC support forum instead? Thanks for your help! Couldn’t have figured this by myself!
