Account locked out on PC, But AD not locked
-
There are a few users that work on a domain & when they log off & back again the pc gets locked with an error ” Your account is locked, pls contact your system administrator”. When we check AD , the account is not locked. However if the a profile is deleted & the PC/laptop is restarted they are able to logon untill the next time they log off & try to log back in. These users have been created as domain administrators on the pc’s/laptops & not administrators of the local machine. This problem occurs on both Windows 2000 & XP(sp2)machines. Why does this happen & how can it be fixed ?
Kind Regards,
Roshan
