    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, this is still the case, unfortunately, and it likely won’t change soon.
    The problem basically is that the DataTables JS library (which is also the foundation of the FixedHeader Extension) does not support tables with rowspan or colspan.
