    Greetings,

It’s worked great up til now. Rev slider images preview fine, but disappear on the front end in Firefox, but look fine in Chrome and IE. I’ve tried re-uploading the images that drop out, cleared cache, etc. but it doesn’t work.

I read somewhere that clicking to “lazy Load” in settings would fix it for FF for some technical reason I didn’t understand. I tried it and it seemed to work, but I get the spinner in between slides now in Chrome and IE, although the images do seem to load in Firefox. It’s a little ‘jerky’ but they load. I’ve left that setting off for now so you can see what I mean about images dropping out.
I’d like to update my X Theme to see if that helps, but I can’t get a Child Theme to work either.

    Any advice would be welcome.
    Thank you,
    Eric

As that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Thank you. Someone from fastest Cache contacted me, but I’m not sure why. Unless they’re one in the same with rev slider, or Theme Punch

    Thank you.

Hm, I’d be suspicious of someone contacting you unsolicited like that.

The address was [email protected], so it looked legit. It was through the forum. They got back to me though. but couldn’t see my problem. Could this be someone trying to hack me?

Yeah, I wouldn’t trust them, never heard of them before. Anyone can get a Gmail account.

https://www.themepunch.com/support-center/ is listed as the support contact for Rev Slider where they’re selling it.

They had suggested we look at my site in something called “teamviewer”?
I tactfully mentioned the fact that their contact via email might be suspect and I was aware of a protocol breach. They haven’t replied back yet.

I sent an inquiry ‘ticket’ to Theme Punch and they have responded with a recommendation to update the slider with instructions. I think I will heed your advice and continue with them.

    Thank you for your consideration,

    E!
