moved from Apache to Nginx now member thumbnails not show & Facebook comments

Hi all

I had my site running on apache2 and all was fine, i needed speed improvements so i moved to nginx, now my site is faster but i have 2 problems

1. Im using the UserPro plugin and Buddypress, however no thumbnails are being displayed for member profiles, not on the userpro plugin, not on the forums, not on the author box’s, nowhere not even on the top admin panel!

2. Facebook comments, used to work, now i cant post comments, there is no errors, it just doesnt post my comments, non of my comments show either, i can see them on the facebook developer page but not on my sites articles. Also even though im logged in as the admin for both facebook and my site, the facebook comment box that appears on my articles, does not show me the moderator tab for fb comments anymore, its as if its not able to communicate with facebook for some reason!??

Anyone have any experience and advice they can give me? Im baffled. ?? This whole server thing is such a headache, every day theres a new problem to fix ?? i just wanna run my site, thats all, but yet ever day im fixing some sort of problem ??
