1 blog, multiple authors

  • I want to have a single blog, but with multiple authors. But I want those authors to be separated so they each have their own page, tab, etc. Can you please point me to a good resource showing how this can be done using a single blog installation and a single database?

    Well imagine under the header there’s a button or tab for Lisa, Mike, Dave, and Susan. Click on Lisa and you’re reading her blog. Click on Mike and you’re reading his blog, etc. But it’s all on the same blog using the same database. So basically each author’s page would have the intelligence to only show posts written by that author.

    Basically, it is possible.
    You may go with the built-in “authors” features > see the Author Tags section of the Codex: Template_Tags#Author_tags
    or, you could create individual categories named after your authors.

    The “tab” thing in both cases would require some custom coding/styling.
