In BadgeOS –> Credly Integration, I have the “Enable Badge Sharing via Credly” option set to “NO”. However, on my buddypress user settings page, there’s a “Badge Sharing” section with a “Send eligible earned badges to Credly” checkbox checked by default. Is it possible to hide the Badge Sharing section when the “Enable Badge Sharing via Credly” option is set to NO? Thanks.

Looks like a code loophole snuck through on us. Essentially, it’s checking for the status of the user sending, which is on by default for users, but it’s not checking whether or not Credly sharing as a whole is on first, so we’ll need to patch that up. It’ll end up hiding the spot completely if it’s not enabled.

That said, despite the setting being there, I don’t believe it’s going to succeed in actually sending, so there is temporary light at the end of this tunnel.

So, is there any solution? I have the same problem.

None officially released yet. You can do your own hotfix if you really need to. Easiest would be to just use CSS to hide for the moment,

It’s been patched in the github copy of the repo, but it may not be production ready in that current state.
