Register Error: Wrong password

    Dear all,

    i have a problem with this Plugin.
    First in total the plugin works find, I’m satisfied. Just one thing i cant do.
    I cant use the feature at the registration that the user takes the own password.
    I activate the password request at the Register with “at least 6 letters” it appears on the registration page but when the new user confirm his settings, i did it a couple of times by my self, he get an error: “wrong password”
    But the Password is absolutely identical.
    I have no woocomerce plugin running.

    Can someone help me with this? I run this Plugin with WP 4.1.1

    Now i tried without password confirmation and the error changes to “Please insert Password” seems the Registration-Form (pass1) do not send the content of the form.

    Is nobody here who can give me a tip with my problem?

    At the moment i only can deploy a auto created Password for user. But the complexity is for some user to complex ?? and they have problems to log on.

    Error is, i will try to explain again: Password seems to do not match. This is the error message.
    But Password is definitely the same Password and re-typed Password.
    I think this could be only a very small bug.
    Hope now someone will help me with this.

    Do you have other plugins related to the login functionalities, such as Theme My Login? They may have some conflicts.

    If this password selection issue would not be caused by a plugin conflict that would make it a lot easier to fix.

    Hey Deadalon,

    thank you for taking notice of my problem this still exist.

    At the moment i send a autocreated Password to User, this is very cryptical ?? to Cryptical for some users they have big Problems with it.

    I have not other login plugin running or installed.

    After install plugin I want to add Register on nav. I could not do this.

    Two more updates within this PlugIn but nothing who help me with this is updated.

    I start a new Test and i do not force user to insert the password twice.
    But the error message is the same. Wrong Password it seems that the plugin transport nothing in this field.

    I hope sometimes you can fix it or give me a solution to use this feature.

    FYI – we ran a test, and even though user was allowed to enter their own password, upon approval, email showed that WP/plugin created it’s own password. So the user/password custom setting does not seem to be working (WP 4.2.2)

    Any idea how to debug it?

    Hi JoschuaTree, I’m not the author of the plugin, and for the sites I use the custom password has worked, so I assume the trouble is related to some difference in site configurations.

    If you can find out what does your site have in common with others who have the same issue, it could be a start for identifying the source of the issue. A certain theme? A plugin that shouldn’t affect this but does? WordPress version or server configuration? Those are some initial ideas that came to mind.
