• Hi,
I downloaded and unzipped the sociable plugin (this was the first time I ever downloaded it), then uploaded the folder to my wp-contents, plugins folder, but it does not show up in my word press admin area. can you tell me why this is? I am using a subdirectory for my blog files so this is where I uploaded the plugin. I also tried putting it in the root directory but either way, it still does not show up in the admin area.

Also how do I create more than one blog on the same domain. I know I create different folders, but do I need to follow a specific naming format for them? thanks

  • 1. Make sure you read the readme/instructions. Many time you do NOT need to upload everything that comes in the zip, just a certain internal folder…

thanks. I read the text file for the sociable plugin and reuploaded the folder (as the instructions indicate)it using ‘binary’ but it still does not work. is there anyone who could take a look at it for me or it that not done?

thanks for the installation info too. I appreciate it.

Wordy7, or anyone else who may read this later, I had the exact same problem. I uploaded the entire file in FTP and there was nothing in my panel.

I tried again and realized there were two separate files in the FTP manager. One was titled “WordPress” and one “www”. Both had wp-contents/plugins files.

Once I uploaded it under the “www” file, it worked.
