Where should i install my wordpress?wwwor public html?

    hi there…
    can anyone tell me how to install wordpress into my FTP(FileZilla)?
    should i install it in public_ html or www ?
    when i install it in www (which is out of public_html folder)..i keep on getting error :

    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Due to that issue..i cant upload any theme or image into my wordpress. Doest the error related to how i install my wordpress in FTP? or the error is related something else?

    I would take a look at this article on installing WordPress.

    Do you have access to your hosting providers cPanel? They should provide you with a quick install for WordPress!
