I am trying to put a form I created many months ago on a form. However, nowhere in the form management area do I see the shortcode for placing the form in the page! I see a discussion on github for embedding using PHP, and even there it references a “Form ID” that I have no way of knowing. Since I am putting this in a widget, there’s no page editor that lets me just insert the form.

Ugh – when I try to insert the form into a dummy page to get the shortcode using the “Insert Form” button – nothing happens.

Sorry, I need a contact form working. I have to delete this plugin.

I’m having this problem too. Taylor, what’s the shortcode?

    Hey guys,

There’s no shortcode but there is a “add form” button next to the media button on the page you want to add the form.

    -good luck

CCF has it’s own widget. Does that help you?

If nothing happens when you click on “Add Form” or “Insert into post,” you may have selected “Disable the visual editor when writing” in your profile. Uncheck this option and switch to “Visual” before to try again. When the form comes up, switching back to “Text” will reveal the shortcode (though at this point you may no longer need it). Mine looked like this:

    [ccf_form id=”1234″]

Took me a little while to figure out so I hope this helps.

By the way, awesome plugin, thanks!
