I wan’t to make sure that the car inventory list that is in the Cars menu of Autostock can be placed on my car inventory wordpress page.

You will need to create a template page for single display and another one for displaying all vehicles (like a grid or list).

I will be build a theme for this plugin shortly after I have added some new functions, like advanced search filters.

Can’t you just ad a script into Autostock that creates automaticly a default page for the car inventory and a default page for the single car vieuw during the installation of the plugin?

Because not anyone can work good with wordpress or any kind of ICT, so it will be easier for persons to use youre Autostock.

As example Woocommerce, it creates his own shop page, check out page, account page,…

I use this plugin for clients’ websites that are car dealer and normally build custom themes.

Rather than clutter up the plugin with templates, I would rather offer a theme that has been built for this plugin. This would allow more flexibility.

I appreciate you comment about doing it the same way as woocommerce but it becomes a bit of a mess( I have built a lot of sites with woocommerce ) with various warnings after updates. I’m a great believer in a module approach, each plugin does one thing and does it well.

I have started to built a theme using the bootstrap framework, perhaps you would like to be a tester for me?

Sorry to boder you again, but i can’t find a way to display all cars on a page ( the complete car list with images ) You told me to create a single page and a custom page but i don’t know where to start. I’m not that good with scripts and stuff. Can you help me step by step how to create a page that displays all the cars listed in the plugin that you created?

You have several options to displaying content.

To display all the custom posts I would recommend using the loop or get_posts see the codex for a full details
