What is the best plugin for security?

    I been trying several security plugins for my blog recently but so far I’m not satisfied. They are either:-
    – slowing down my blog
    – conflict with other plugins
    – make me feel insecure

    I know there are many quality premium security plugin out there. But for the moment and while my blog is still climbing up the ranking, I would prefer to use the free one.

    Can anyone suggest what plugin should I use?
