Removing ad at the top of page issue

    Hi there,

    This problem is just in the admin page.

    Everything is working well with the exception that I cannot remove an ad from the very top of a page. This is because the black cross in the green box is hidden behind the menu bar at the top with the “save and activate” and “close” buttons in it.

    I am able to view the settings for this green box but not the ability to remove it.

    Any help greatly appreciated as everything else is working really well.

    Here is the sollution by galeksicTop Contributor

    This is not very easy, but I don’t see any other way:

    In Google Chrome right click on [x] and select “Inspect element”.

    If you see something else is selected, and that is not <img src=”//www.gstatic.com/publisher_plugin/exit_icon.svg”… button, then just press “Delete” on your keyboard (to remove it).

    Again – right click on [x] and select “Inspect element” and again – press delete if [x] is not selected.
    …
    Repeat above if necessary – until you remove all elements which are preventing you to use [x].

    It worked fine for me
