Gallery won't show up

    I am trying to put a gallery on a page of my website, using the built-in gallery feature. There is text on the page, and the photos are to clarify what the text is saying. The gallery shows up in my “visual” view and it shows up as a simple code in “text” view: [gallery columns="2" ids="98,99,101,100"]. But, when I save and “preview” or “view page” all I get is the title of the page. No text and no gallery. Just the title and a blank page below the heading. This page is not yet published, since there isn’t anything showing up on it.

    Help please?? Ideas? Advice? All welcome.

    Does this issue occur when a default theme is in use?

    I am using the Celestial-Lite theme with the default template. But, I have tried it with a couple of other themes with the same result, then came back to the current one.
