I love this plug-in it’s just what I needed because I uploaded 5,000 images via FTP. I then used another plugin to create the thumbnails on the server.

All this worked fine on my local machine as a test but when I installed your plugin on my live site I get a major problem. No matter what I do one image gets set at the “Future Featured Image” for hundreds of posts.

I’ve tried filtering by time to cutdown on the number of posts I’m dealing with. This worked fine for the first batch, these were posts with galleries. But on the next round when I got to a category which was single posts with just a single image I hit this problem. Each post has a different image yet what’s being assigned to each one is the same image (that is different to the one in the posts).

For example is I have 100 posts and each has a different image, and the 100 images have file names 001.jpg to 100.jgp – then 001.jpg is assigned as featured image for all these posts.

I’ve discovered what the problem was.

In my posts I use the same content just changed the image for each post. And so each post contained this style code “aligncenter size-full wp-img1123”

Seems the plugin was picking up the 1123 and the image ID and match that. I assumed it would look for the filename.

Yes, the plugin looks for the ID first, then for the filename.
