Need to change the way the Thumbs post

    On my gallery, I am having trouble having the titles display under the galleries. I think this is due to the fact that there are too many thumbs across.

    The way it displays now is 5 columns by 5 rows. You can’t see the title of the gallery and there is a line between the thumb and how many pictures are in it. I thought maybe if I went to a 8 rows and 3 columns the thumbs would spread out a bit, but can’t find anywhere to do this (I have tried a few of the options but can’t find anything that has helped. ) I have removed the sidebar on the page and the gallery stays at 5×5 and just centers on the page.

    @kkathman – The gallery title will only fit under the width of the thumbnail in the compact album view. You could go with wider thumbnails to allow for more text to be easily read under the preview images.

    Just go back into the IGW and under the customizations for that display over-ride the thumbnail sizes to something wider … you may have to experiment to see what works best but the number of columns you have set elsewhere will not affect the albums display you are referencing.

    I’m sorry I guess I don’t know what the IGW is? I went to Gallery->Other Options->
    Thumbnail Options and set the default thumbnail dimensions to bigger, but this didn’t do a thing to the display.

    Apparently I’m on the wrong page.

    @kkathman – Good to read … and just a reminder, each inserted gallery via the IGW (“green button”) will always hold whatever settings it had applied no matter what or when you change under Gallery > Gallery Settings … as well as some of the Other Options settings such as Thumbnail Options.
