I have varnish caching enabled automatically through my provider (DreamHost using DreamPress). They recommend testing if and how Varnish caching is working by using: https://www.isvarnishworking.com/ on my site: hightechdad.com. When I run it, it is partially working. So I kept testing by disabling plugins and running isvarnishworking.com and the one plugin that fixed things was when Fast Secure Contact Form was disabled.

So my question, is there a setting within FSCF that will make it play well with varnish?

@hightechdad I have reported this issue to @mike Challis the plugin developer.

    Regards

I use W3 Total Cache plugin for my WordPress site and it works just fine.

I Have absolutely no experience with the Varnish caching program. Also I do not know what was not working or why. Do you have any more details on that?
This help page is a good resource to troubleshoot problems.

For any cache program compatibility, I do recommend this:
Uncheck the setting “Use PHP Sessions” on the “Advanced” tab in the form settings

@mikechallis – Thanks for the recommendations. So, it isn’t when a form is being submitted. It’s simply when I test to see if varnish is “working” using the site that I mentioned in my original post, it says “sort of”. When I disable JUST your plugin, it says that varish IS completely working.

I turned that “Use PHP Sessions” on to test as well but it didn’t make a difference. I will turn it off. Also, I eliminated captcha to see if that might be causing issues.

I used to use W3TC but have disabled just because I have varnish, a CDN and CloudFlare already running.
