Problem with Image size in Slider – Awaken Theme

Ok. As this is the main problem for most users I will describe how to solve this.

**** Check the problematic image has a minimum width of 752px and a minimum height of 440px.

In math featured image MUST pass the following criteria.
Featured image width >= 752px and
Featured image height >= 440px.

If you have followed that criteria your image will be cropped by the regenerate thumbnail plugin properly.

If the featured image has a lower width than 752px. It will cause to increase the height of the image.

I will describe why this happens.

The slider has set the featured image to zoom 100%.

For example if you insert a 500×400 image it will NOT cropped by the regenerate thumbnail plugin as it has a lower width than 752px and a lower height than 440px.

Instead it will zoom to 752px. Proportionally the height will be (752/500)*400 = 601px. After zooming image has a width of
752px width and a 601px height.

I think this might help to solve your problem.
